About
Digital Technologies enable new ways of working, sometimes disrupting traditional processes. The Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation (AECO) industry is rapidly experiencing a Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is the transformation of processes and competencies to leverage potentials and impacts of digital technologies. To understand means, processes and outcomes of the Digital Transformation, to be part of it, drive it on its front-edge and positively impact the AECO industry with it, AECO professionals need Digital Literacy. Digital Literacy refers to the understanding of digital information based on technical skills and knowledge to master ideas.
With other initiatives and in coordination with the Educational Programs at the TU Delft Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, this platform aims to facilitate the training of the new generations of AECO professionals regarding Digital Literacy.
